The 3 guys that showed up at our house today were the most polite, knowledgeable and well mannered fellows we’ve seen in a long time and we deal with a lot of vendors through our business. They went straight to work and you can tell these guys take pride in what they do. Josh did an exceptional job explaining to us old folks how everything works. Corey was the third contactor I called about quoting a whole house generator for our rather large home (6,100 hsf). Prior to contacting Corey, I read his google reviews, as I had for the other contractors. Was pleased to see so many positive reviews, which to me speaks to their company assuring they are going to do the job correct and customer feedback matters. When speaking with Corey for the first time, I listed with a critical ear, more so due to the all positive reviews. Many trades can be great when they are chasing the work, but once they start and complete the work is when the real contractor shows up. I do a lot of homework before hand when hiring any technical trade. I prepare a lot of questions and document the answers as I interview them in anticipation of a quote. AI can help a ton on this, but just looking at manufacturer specs and products can also go a long way. Some contractors find this to be too much and we quickly move on as I can tell the ones not interested in having a measure which by integrity can be measured… The prior two contractors started to get “testy” during this phase and one outright lied to me when asked about configuration of the system contrary to the manufacturers specs (confirmed by a call to Generac). NOT SO with Corey. He maintained his professionalism throughout and explained everything I asked him about. The thing I heard that made a difference to me was his mentioning that he likes the challenge of what he does, as do his crews. Again, this is going to show in doing your homework in getting a quote, but understanding all the details of the quote and then holding the contractor accountable to make sure it is a passion for the work. All good. The design of our system was not simple, as we put the generator close to the gas and ran the electrical over to the install point. This was the most aesthetically pleasing approach for the exterior and worked with running conduit in the garage to the crawl and then over to the unit. Corey listened to my suggestion and even worked with me to do the take offs from CAD drawings we had of the home. It showed me that he is knowledgable and willing to do what it takes. Our unit was installed over 3 months ago and I never write reviews just after install… The system is working great even though we have not lost power. This is not my first home with a Generac and I know preventative maintenance will assure the product will last. Powerhouse takes care of that on an annual maintenance program that is very affordable and they stand behind it. I will be looking to use Corey’s team on some other electrical work we need done now that he and his crew completed the project, on time, on budget and efficiently for our 26K whole home generator. I can highly recommend Powerhouse and they are willing to have you do your homework. In the end Powerhouse was not the least cost contractor, but I don’t have to look over my shoulder on this purchase, install and go live. I knew what we agreed to and they showed up providing everything they said they would at the price they quoted. Call Corey!

System was installed within six hours and it looks amazing. Still need to test and see how it all works in a real emergency. But out of the box could not be happier!

100% satisfied. First class operation. Met Corey through a friend. Needed service on an existing generator. That turned into installation of a second generator. Both experiences have been on time, on budget and great customer service.
